I serve as a team member at Chick-fil-A in all positions at the front of house. I am able to perform carefully and efficiently so that customers receive a great experience and a great product. This requires the habits of active listening when taking a customer's order and personal charisma to make the person feel valued. Communicating to my peers when organizing and serving food is the engine that allows the customer to receive what they ordered.

I serve as the Youth Minister at Woodland Baptist Church of Brownsville which includes teaching on Wednesday nights for Youth Group and Sunday mornings for Sunday school. I write my own messages and series for Wednesday nights while I go through a curriculum on Sunday mornings. The curriculum on Sunday mornings is aligned with all the other Sunday school classes, allowing all members young and old to converse about the lessons they have read. This type of learning creates an inclusive and active environment between all of our members fostering the unity of the church.I also lead a youth committee that organizes and plans events and the vision of the youth group. By creating goals, fun events, and vision for the youth group, the youth committee is able to build community in the church and outside the church. The youth grows closer in bonds, taking in the joys of life that God has bestowed to humanity, and learns to serve each other and the community virtuously.
