Worked as a design- and strategy-oriented Project Architect at B+H Architects in Vancouver. Oversaw hiring and managed several teams working on office, mixed-use and luxury residential projects in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Developed feasibility studies of new projects; estimated fees for incoming work; responsible for budgets and schedules of multiple teams.Projects in Vancouver ranged from complex rezonings of an entire downtown city block; addition of an office tower to an existing heritage site; administration of tender and construction for downtown towers; design of a mixed-use condo in Mount Pleasant winning unanimous approval from the Urban Design Panel. Client-facing role, including business development for new and existing clients. Actively engaged with the City on development and building permits, as well as Urban Design Panel submissions and heritage committees.
