A forward-thinking, highly motivated professional in the sport industry, currently working as General Manager at The Old Course Ranfurly Golf Club. Working in the golf industry, I am committed to my own personal development and have obtained my CMDip qualification from CMAE after completing MDP 1 and MDP 2, and I have since also completed MDP Golf Management. Prior to club management, I also have experience of working with the governing body, Scottish Golf. This involved supporting our 575 affiliated clubs with their business operations as well as working within the marketing and communications team. I am also currently a Director on the Board at Greenock Morton having previously been a Director of Morton Club Together. My area of focus of my role on the Morton Board is around communications, marketing and commercial which allows me to combine my professional experience with my passion for the club.

This means Greenock Morton Football Club will be community owned.Leading a team of four, our focus includes managing press relations and communications with our members, managing our various social media channels and website, and originating and actioning campaigns that will help to increase membership and awareness of Morton Club Together.Most recently, our successful campaign around the announcement of the community ownership agreement led to an increase of more than 200 members in just ten days. There have been over 1000 Young Scot members signed up since its launch.•May the Toys Be With You Exhibition at Paisley Museum – I was involved in the promotion of the Star Wars exhibit which ran between March and May 2017. Over 12,000 visitors attended the exhibition and we reached over 100,000 people on social media through various different content ideas such as a stormtrooper visiting the museum. •Membership Analysis Reporting – on a quarterly basis, I produce a report which analysis both membership cancellations and sign ups. This report allows us to gain an insight into where our customer service is going right, and where it may need improved.
