I have worked on projects, bids and contracts of all sizes up to many £ billions and personally led projects of many £ millions. For the last 22 years I worked part time as an associate ICT lecturer for the Open University.Business roles include: management consultancy; business & technical strategic planning & policy development; programme & project management; Corporate governance in context of re-organisation and business unit setup; marketing & market analysis, communications, costing/pricing, commercial & bid management for complex ITC bids; product & portfolio development & process improvement; quality management; information & knowledge management; customer experience improvement and B2B systems and process integration. IT roles include: computer centre manager; systems & business application programmer and analyst; testing/implementation/change; security consultancy; IT consultancy; IT Audit Information; intranet/eServices management; and IT standards and best practice development. I have worked on some fantastic projects with great people. I believe in being open and honest, having clear objectives, especially on complex and conflicting projects, and that people and team work are the key to success.

Since 2019 I have been an apprentice practice tutor supporting degree apprentices throughout their courses. This year (2022) I have started tutoring the new second level TM256 cyber security module.Since 2010 I have been elected to represent Associate Lecturers (ALs) on the national AL Assembly (ALA) first for the South East (SE) region and more recently for the STEM faculty. As a member of the ALA I have represented ALs on the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) Central Academic Unit Committee 2013 -2015. AL Executive 2013 -2015, and STEM faculty meetings. -
