Created/prepared returns inventory analysis reports and scorecards, which measured vendor and East/West PRC performance, compared to set Key Performance Indicators. Identified areas of opportunity in return inventory accumulation, SKU setup and inventory disposition. Receiving Coordinator – Jun-Dec 2007Worked with a team of up to 7 associates. Reorganized the department and process as accuracy and accountability were an issue in the department. Created a reporting structure for all associates that lead to improved accuracy and in time productivity. Assisted with the creation of an SOP for the new receiving process. Working with Vendor’s and the Best Buy Distribution Center to claim Concealed Damage Credits. Executed investigation on all Vendor claims. Monitor the inflow of RTV units and ensure they are processed in a timely fashion.Through my time in RTV I made good relationships with Vendors, CHQ, Genco and Loss Prevention.Inventory Control – Service Dept.2004-2006Monitored and maintained the Eastern Service Depot’s inventory of approximately 25,000 units. Preformed cycle-counts and audits of shipments and locations. Conducted bi-annual full-counts. Executed inventory adjustments between the Western Service Depot, Genco (Returns Depot), and Best Buy Canada and Future Shop Stores (approx 76 stores). Handled shipping discrepancies, investigations on both incoming and outgoing shipments. Worked with the National Loss Prevention Manager on escalated issues between the stores and the service depot.
