Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, with revenues annually in excess of 100 million, is an exclusive distributor for Harley-Davidson genuine parts, as well as, motorcycles for Canada, selling to 75 retailers’ nation-wide. Reporting to the CFO, the role included responsibility for 18 IT associates with 5 direct reports. The primary focus was to develop and execute a 3–5 year information technology roadmap in support of the organizations strategic direction

Reported to the CIO with responsibility for all aspects of the JD Edwards business system. Role required the support of distribution and manufacturing for the Home Products division with revenues of 300 million, managing 15 direct reports in both the functional and technical areas.

Led the implementation of JD Edwards, while managing 8 technical, 1 distribution and 4 financial consultants servicing Central Park Lodges Ltd. Central Park Lodges Ltd. (CPL), operating under Retirement Residences REIT, is a leading Canadian health care company which owns and manages 77 retirement and 94 long-term care homes in Canada and the United States, servicing more than 20,000 seniors. The implementation involved the transition of the Long Term Care division from their legacy accounting applications to JD Edwards financials. The Retirement and Long Term Care divisions were successfully merged into one environment.

Enersource Corporation (2001–2002), Enersource Corporation's core electricity distribution business Enersource Hydro Mississauga serves 165,000 customers and is one of Ontario's largest regulated distribution utilities. Enersource implemented Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Workforce Management, Service and Warranty Management, Business Intelligence modules and Portal and DSI’s dcLINK automated data collection product. Managed an internal team and 9 technical, 1 financial and 2 manufacturing consultants.Fred Deeley Imports Ltd. (2000–2001),An exclusive distributor for Harley-Davidson genuine parts and motorcycles in Canada, servicing 75 retailers’ nation-wide. The project involved implementing JD Edwards OneWorld Xe general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed assets for the Vancouver head office with a second phase, implementing sales order management, procurement, inventory management, advanced pricing, advanced warehouse management and DSI’s dcLINK automated data collection product. Management responsibilities included the internal team and the external team consisting of 2 technical, 2 financial and 2 distribution consultants.

Established and developed a distribution practice sharing my time between hiring and managing consulting staff and working closely with JD Edwards client managers and prospective clients. Longer term engagements were with such well known businesses as Blockbuster Video Inc., SmithKline Beecham Inc., and Nova Scotia Power Inc. The practice grew to 5 consultants and generated 1.5 million in revenues annually.

Assisted clients with the implementation of JD Edwards distribution modules. Provided onsite training and consulting services for various clients and managed two implementations for SmithKline Beecham, Consumer Health Care and Clarion Car Auto.

As an employee of General Electric Apparatus Technical Services (ATS) business, part of the General Electric Power Systems division servicing large and small electrical motors, switchgear and transformers for the Canadian market. Working as part of a team at head office to design and implement J.D. Edwards financial, service billing, and job cost and distribution modules on a project lasting 5 years and encompassing 21 separate businesses.
