Beginning my career at the Welding Institute in Cambridge, working on process and equipment development, I developed my passion for providing bespoke micro joining solutions. Taking a huge leap I set up MacGregor Welding Systems Ltd, dedicated to designing and manufacturing precision micro welding equipment and providing process development, to the wider manufacturing and engineering communities.Growing the business throughout the next 30 years and developing MacGregor Systems as a leading player in the precision micro joining sector, with offices in UK, Europe, USA and Asia, I developed strong enduring client relationships with small to large global companies, across multiple sectors (automotive, defence, electrical etc…) To date MacGregor applications have provided solutions to the needs of many companies, to list a few:GMC, Lexmark, Dyson, Phillips, ……Starting Glebe Associates after the acquisition of MacGregor Systems into the Amada-Miyachi corporation in 2016, I now offer my years of expertise and knowledge in assisting business by providing workable solutions to their micro-joining needs.I am always pleased to have initial informal discussions on any areas of micro-welding.
