Manage the workshop production and efficiency of the team to ensure all projects are manufactured within quoted and budgeted man hours.Collate daily time sheets for all operatives detailing all working hours and relevant job numbers. Review nonproductive time prior to submission.Ensure all operatives are using the correct PPE in general and work specific tasks.Carry out regular depot safety inspections, and weekly safety inspections. Report accidents and near misses using the correct methods and ensure the team are also aware of their responsibilities to report accidents and near misses.Supervision of staff in bending;guillotining;drilling;chamfering and rolling sections. Inspection on parts completed in sections as detailed above. Assisting project estimators with current and urgent jobs. Assist production manager with any other tasks. Control of maintenance/servicing on machines in sections.
