Delighted to announce that earlier this year amid the Covid 19 crisis I joined X-treme Systems limited as Head of Operations, based in Northampton I’m excited to have joined X-treme and to be part of a wider consortium, Expedition engineering, Quantum infrastructure and Walkers Construction. Working closely with Innovate UK and Network rail we are thrilled to be part of the government initiative, “The Transport Infrastructure Efficiency Strategy Living Lab is a partnership”In my new role I will bring my manufacturing experience to a well-established team and working with our partners bring efficiencies to transport projects throughout the UK.The quote below from government minister Andrew Stephenson sums up our goal and expectations in the coming years.“Over the next two years, the Living Lab will enable real-life demonstrators of the very best data and digitalisation techniques, providing tools the construction industry needs to improve the cost efficiency of projects, drive down their delivery times and reduce projects’ carbon footprints”I have spent the last ten years working all over the world so I am extremely excited to working with UK industry and supporting our infrastructure.
