Working for Capita IT Enterprises Services (ITES) division in a project team, my primary responsibility as technical lead was to produce high and low (detailed) designs to meet the functional and non-functional requirements (RTO/RPO etc.) and future scalability requirements of business services being delivered.Following design(s) sign off, as technical lead I took responsibility for ensuring all delivery and implementation steps required to ensure the infrastructure elements were delivered as per design, tested and smoothly transitioned into BAU support. The clients were a mix of internal (Capita Group) and external parties.Achievements: SAP service transition and replatform. The legacy SAP estate had reached capacity and was constraining growth of the business, The project successfully delivered on time and on budget despite numerous technical hurdles that had to be overcome for the first time. The SAP project team received recognition from the Board of Directors for delivering a successful outcome which allowed the business to continue to expand.Achievements: Third Party Data Centre Migration Capita won a contract to migrate a third party client's hosted services into the Capita Private Cloud. As compute infrastructure technical lead, the services were successfully migrated on time with no unplanned downtime incurred. This consisted of approximately 150 servers and was significantly complicated by a re-IP of servers being required.

The Innovation and Design team, in consultation with their stakeholders and vendors, define the portfolio of IT infrastructure capabilities which leads to the production of building block standards - infrastructure and processes to deploy the capabilities, correctly, quickly and as cost effectively as possible.Graham’s role includes working closely with vendors and monitoring industry trends to identify, evaluate and introduce new technology capabilities at Sky. This is normally achieved by building a business case, receiving funding approval, conducting a technical proof of concept, producing detailed documentation used to facilitate service introduction and finally sign off from delivery and support teams.The team also assist business projects, capturing requirements, working with vendors, evaluating technical solutions, producing detailed infrastructure designs and working with delivery teams through to project completion.

Responsible for planning, organising and facilitating migration/consolidation of services from co-located data centre to Sky managed facility.

Working within the DCT Production Engineering Citrix Migration project team, responsible for consolidating and migration of all European client / server applications onto a single Citrix Presentation Server (PS3) farm to reduce latency between client and consolidated application and file / print servers.Working in 9 European countries in fifteen locations the team successfully migrated ninety discrete client / server applications, to schedule.

Produce technical infrastructure designs for Windows server hosted services. Work with implementation team to produce Operations and Support documentation and provide handover support during service introduction period.
