Awards Excellence AmbassidorThe Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents (Rospa) Mar 2018 - PresentGlobalI feel so honoured to be part of such a wonderful organisation as RoSPA and the Awards. As a RoSPA Awards Ambassador I feel a great sense of privilege to show what can come from partaking in what I consider to be the world’s greatest Awards for workplace Occupation Safety and Health. Being involved myself as an award entrant for almost 20 years with different organisations, I have not only seen the success of receiving the awards but also from the reflection the submission process gives you. For the past four years I have been part of the judging panel for the RoSPA Awards Sector winners and Sir George Earle Trophy and have enjoyed the challenges of comparing and benchmarking the shortlisted nominees when you are comparing different sectors to find an overall winner. This led me to accept the role of Awards Ambassador because I have a passion to ensure that organisations don’t see the awards as a tick box exercise but to truly reflect on what they do to ensure the workforce as well as those they affect though their activity remain healthy and go home to their loved ones. The RoSPA Awards are your organisations ultimate reflection, benchmarking and reward for what many take for granted but is a result of the hard work from a team. -
