Maelstrom has spent the last 25 years repeatedly producing engaging, interactive, virtual reality experiences. We specialise in the production of bespoke training, simulation and entertainment systems to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients specific requirements. Our extensive experience in Virtual Reality application development has enabled us to create ground-breaking interactive systems for a variety of markets including; architectural visualisations, marketing promotions, and military and civilian training simulations. We have produced VR systems for a host of blue chip clients and supported events that span the globe. The last few years we have been focused mainly on military training, including virtual reality IED and de-mining training for the British Armed Forces. We have been under a research contract with ESA (the European Space Agency) working on satellite tracked VR for the last 3 years, and have recently been contracted for another 30 months research by ESA to develop low-cost humanitarian vr de-mining training.
