I'm a documentary director & cinematographer at the intersection of art and science; knowledge and purpose. My work focuses on amplifying character-driven stories through collaborative and creative films that reimagine the world for the next generation. The projects that mean the most are the ones that amplify stories about connection with nature through science, recreation, and community building in pursuit of a better world.I have led organizations to produce film projects that have screened at festivals and conferences across the globe — from the Columbia Climate School in New York City, to the Oxford Museum of Natural History, and even aboard a ferry as it sailed through Chilean Patagonia. My projects also reach beyond screenings. It's important to me that the stories I bring to life are used to educate, inspire, and advocate for ecosystems and communities that need it most. With degrees in biology and science communication and a background working in remote, outdoor locations, I am most comfortable in the field and love long days in hard to reach places. I'm an Advanced Operations-certified and insured drone pilot, wilderness first-aider, former varsity athlete, and licensed commercial bus/truck driver (Ontario Class C). I spend my free time paddling, Nordic skiing, running, and mountain biking.I'm currently based in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke and available for projects worldwide. I always enjoy meeting new people and hearing new ideas over a coffee or on the trail.
