I was a manager in the Hotels, Leisure and Business Services team where I concentrate on hotels and restaurants. In May 2015 I achieved the Certificate in Leisure Financial Management qualification from the Chartered Banker. I am also accredited as a Leisure (hotels, bars and restaurants) and a Franchise Bank Manager by the Chartered Banker having passed both foundation courses in 2013 and 2012 respectively. I have been in this sector specific role since January 2012. Prior to this I had a generalist commercial portfolio consisting of a number of SME customers including a number of hotels and restaurants. I funded my first hotel in 1996.I have developed expereince with both non-branded experienced operators and more recently branded operations. I have consistently been ranked highly on customer service and credit stewardship.I want to do all I can to assist my customers, aid growth, providing support when needed and act as a sounding board for ideas and concerns. Through time I want to be seen as part of their team and as a trusted advisor rather than just a bank manager.I have a great deal of Banking experience over the past 38 years mainly in business and corporate banking.
