Leading an ambitious and strategic business intelligence team to improve cancer outcomes and care for the patients of North Central London. We use our technical expertise, vast experience with cancer data in the UK, and local knowledge to provide accessible and insightful data and analytics across all primary and secondary care stakeholders in NCL.I have a keen interest and expertise in using data to better understand cancer survival, impacting earlier diagnosis of cancer ambitions, improving patient experience and quality of life outcomes, and reducing unwarranted variation and inequalities when it comes to patients accessing cancer services.The Cancer Alliance is the system of healthcare commissioners, providers and patients that seeks to achieve the best cancer outcomes for the whole population of North Central London. The cancer alliances work can be summarised into three main areas. In addition, we play key role in supporting the recovery of cancer services in the area impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. - Encouraging presentation for early diagnosis - Optimising and reducing variation in diagnosis and treatment - Provision of high-quality personalised support and care for all patients diagnosed with cancer - Recovery of activity to pre-COVID-19 levels and resilience for further COVID-19 waves
