My achievements in this role have been ,Improving site PM’S in MEX from 80 to 120 PM’S , also developing and implementing daily checklist for maint dept , and assisting with developing autonomous maint tasks for operators. Training maint personal in the MEX system from no input to now closing off their own PM’S and W/Orders and daily inputting maint tasks and breakdowns into MEX Since I have been at Fonterra I have been a major player in improving the working relationship between maint and all other Departments .and driving OE concepts from a poor standard to a standard that is continually improving with 5/S , SPS and spare parts tied into assets in MEX and audited continually . Also stepping up to Acting Eng Manager for 6 months .

In this position I was responsible to provide . * Guidance and training to maint personal in Preventative Maint of site machinery using CMMS (MEX) System to assist in keeping track and control of Maint Stores and Activities .* I provided Training and coaching to Production Operators in minor maint tasks and because of their Keenness I was able to train them in fixing breakdowns and more complex maint activities . ( after I left 2 of these operators were transferred to the maint dept. )I was also responsible to plan and co- ordinate maint shutdowns and design and implement improvements and up grades to site machinery .

In this role I was responsible for maintenance and installations Working with technicians from Japan and America ,in the installation of Machinery in a Greenfield site at Scoresby producing cardboard sheets and boxes .I was responsible to train and transfer knowledge from the technicians to maint personal .
