Graham started in the construction industry more than 30 years ago. His career has taken several turns but has always remained within arms-reach of a sector that provides an exciting degree of complexity and variety. One exception was a short stint in the defence force, mostly studying and playing sport, around the picturesque Cabarlah Army base, just outside Toowoomba. After completing his ‘national service’ in 1990, it was once again time to jump back into construction. With a hunger to push boundaries, he applied himself to industry education culminating in studies in both Construction and Project Management. Always restless with the status quo, whilst raising a young family, running a building and window company, undertaking developments, and studying, there was a desire to push further. The challenge was set, build a cutting-edge sustainable display home to push ideas at a national level. Mission accomplished. After a year of helping educate the industry and community alike, unrest returned. Again, looking for more justification to start the day with gusto, another move was muted. A role with FK Gardner’s was tabled, considered, and accepted. As Development Manager, then BDM across their collective businesses, his attention was again focused, at least temporarily. Surprisingly, a trend had finally been identified and it was time to move on from the corporate sector. A consultancy role beckoned.At the helm of Aspect his role became one of diversity. A passion for driving client focused business solutions in a multifaceted consultancy group has found a medium.
