The ViPA is used by oil producers all over the world to troubleshoot, monitor and control their oily water separation processes in order to increase productivity, maximise cost effectiveness and reduce environmental emissions. My responsibilities include conducting onshore and offshore instrument and chemical trials and process surveys using ViPA technologies. As part of the Process Insight service, Jorin provide a whole suite of chemical analyses for oil and water characterisation and I conduct these analyses both offshore and onshore back in Jorin’s laboratory. I am in charge of Jorin’s laboratory facilities and equipment. As well as site work I am involved in building, integrating, testing and servicing ViPA systems. I provide technical support and product training for software and hardware, both internally and externally for customers, contractors, and employees. -
