Currently working to bring greater sustainability to the fashion industry and to bring trustworthy 3D computer aided design and virtual try on of apparel for consumers to market. Nothing like solving some grand technology challenges to keep one out of trouble! My fellow founders and I started Seddi Inc. in 2017 to meet these challenges by investing in research for textile and garment simulation. No other company has assembled the team and taken the time to understand and advance this critically important science. We have been in the shadows for 5 years doing the research, building our IP, and our patent portfolio. We have now launched our first product with another due out this summer. The road to transformative technology and product has been long but we are finally there. I look forward to sharing about our journey and the current state and future of fashion technology in a series of upcoming posts.I am very proud of my prior life of 20+ years as senior operating partner at American Industrial Partners, a terrific private equity firm. I have a strong track record for value creative transformation at underperforming industrial companies. It prepared me well to lead Seddi Inc. I happily retired from the firm to pursue investment opportunities such as Seddi to bring innovation and disruptive technologies to market. I remain active in working with industrial companies as well as with charitable pursuits in the US and Canada.
