Loss Prevention Manager (Reinvigoration Project)Boots May 2002 - Apr 2004Attained promotion from Loss Prevention Investigator, based at Store 675, Aberdeen, in May 2002, this was due to being selected to take part in the first wave of stores to be reinvigorated in London, over a 6-month period. The project then continued for a further 3 waves throughout the country, at this point I covered Scotland.PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES.•Liase with the project team regarding all loss prevention and risk issues.•Conduct Store risk assessment prior to implementation of method statements.•Ensure that store teams, contractors understand the loss prevention plan.•Ensure the Store’s are loss prevention ready for refit.•Key point of contact for the guarding company, contractors and store teams (24hours).•Ensure that all guarding requirements are booked in advance and confirmed.•Check and review quality of service standards.•Review training standards of all security officers and conduct regular assessments K.P.I.’s.•Proactively investigate any suspected breaches of security and where appropriate forward to Regional and Central teams.PROJECT RESULTS.London: This involved 165 Store’s across the whole of London Area over a 6-month period, with an overall KPI result GREEN, no major incidents of theft.Scotland: This was conducted over three waves:Wave 1: 14 Store’s KPI result GREEN.Wave 2: 13 Store’s KPI result GREEN.Wave 3: 15 Store’s KPI result GREEN. -
