Helped a former client stabilize financial operations during a transition period. Continue to serve as advisor to the firm's former CEO & several of its investors.Acted as CFO of this Private Equity backed buy & build aggregation play that has successfully acquired three platform acquisitions & 28 tuck in acquisitions. Arrow is fastest growing firm in its industry, having grown 480% through organic growth & acquisitions since 2011 and doubled in size during the time I was involved. This $40mm firm has maintained double digit operating margins throughout this process.Budgeting & Forecasting: Built financial projections and budgeting models from ground up. Worked with Division Presidents and CEO to set revenue & expense budgeting levels for each division. Developed processes to enable firm's integrated ERP systems to integrate smoothly with our budgeting plans to compare actual results to projected revenues, expenses, asset levels and cash flow.Change Management: Identified 32 different functions the Finance & Administration Department provides for the organization. Worked with team to organize these functions into distinct job functions with clear job descriptions and pair existing employees and new hires to these roles, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Acquisition Integration Management: With input from all departments, developed pre-acquisition and post-acquisition integration planning processes. TeamScreen’s cloud-based, integrated CRM & ERP System was developed to automate the Background Screening Industry. Worked with founder to leverage TeamScreen’s capabilities into an attractive platform on to which to actively aggregate acquisitions.• Brought in to develop and execute buy & build growth strategy.• Identified and acquired multiple tuck-in acquisitions for TeamScreen in 2007 & 2008, at an average price of roughly 1.8x annual pro-forma cash flow, post-acquisition by TeamScreen.• Helped drive strong annual revenue growth of 58% while active in firm through acquisition and support of organic growth.• Gross Margins of 64% & EBITDA margin of 22% attained during tenure in part due to acquisitions. Most recent tuck-in paid for itself out of incremental cash flow in 13 months.
