I was asked to join the Web Connectivity team to add my skills and knowledge to their A&S (e-Accounting) engagement, and specifically to the design and roll-out of their enabledAccounting service, initially focusing on the re-design required to support the management of message flows for Carriers acting as lead in Co-Insurance placements. In recent times I have focused on data based improvements to London Market processes such as Binder accounting and the processing requirements of Cover holders working with MGA's.Also in recent times I have worked closely with Clients and Prospects, providing support and partnership in their development of a digital strategy that will enable them to embrace and leverage the benefits available in an increasingly data driven industry, supporting their objective of data integration and process automation.My responsibilities also include Bermuda where Web Connectivity are a leading supplier of reinsurance messaging capability. My work includes close involvement with both existing Clients and Prospects.

I am an experienced and committed Insurance professional with over 30yrs leadership experience in the Broker IBA function and have successfully undertaken a wide-range of operational, project Management and Executive Leadership roles. I have led both tactical and strategic business initiatives, contributing to the ‘big picture’ whilst also maintaining a clear understanding of the detail, and in recent years have provided significant leadership in the global roll-out of e-Accounting.Boundary Consulting draws on the above experience and can provide support and guidance to any Business change initiative within the insurance industry, but specifically I am keen to support initiatives linked to process improvement within either the London or Global (Re) Insurance Markets. If the initiative incoroporates process improvement using ACORD messge based processes then this provides an even better fit to my skills.

Responsible for the re-design and alignment of Xchanging's Netsett product to ensure appropriate support for the Ruschlikon initiative and e-Accounting implementations in general. In doing so I have liaised closely with members of Ruschlikon UK and with Carriers Globally.This work has also incorporated a comprehensive re-design of the Netsett application to enable a unique Intra-Group reconciliation and settlement capability.

In a career spanning 32 years at Willis I have undertaken most if not all tasks relating to IBA accounting, Team/Departmental management and both Functional and Operational change leadership.Early 2010 I accepted a lead role in Willis' role out of e-Accounting, initiating contact, developing relationships and promoting collaboration with Key Carrier sponsors (e.g. COO/CFO). My role included making the business case for change and identifying benefits including re-work reduction, elimination of uncorrelated cash, speedier settlement and support to regulatory requirements (CASS5 and Solvency II). Also, post implementation, ensuring process improvement was measured to demonstrate benefit realisation. Associated responsibilities included:• Wiliis A&S Executive member• Willis e-Accounting Sponsor Group member• Ruschlikon Steering Group representative since the Group’s inception in October 2008• Ruschlikon Business Implementation Group Chairman since 2010• Non Bureau Working Group (NBWG) representative since formation until Jan 2013In association with the above I also enthusiastically advocated change via presentation to numerous Industry Groups (e.g. LMG Forum, ACORD Implementation Forum, Tintech Conference). I have also acted as point of contact for associated organisations and groups such as Xchanging, ACORD, TMEL, IUA, LMG and Software Suppliers.During the period 2010 – 2012 Willis received 7 awards for implementation activity and have been recognized as an industry leader in the implementation of e-Accounting. In 2011 I personally received an ACORD award as recognition for my work in the promotion of ACORD message usage.
