I currently handle the Support or Help Desk operations for the The Villages Technology Solutions Group. We provide IT services to The Villages, The Village Center Community Development District, The Villages Charter Schools, AgeWave Solutions, Vikus Water, Sumter County, City of Wilwood, City of Bushnell, Florida Hospital, and others. We currently have nearly 2,800 desktop units and 2500+ users between The Villages, The District, and the Charter Schools alone. We do desktop installs, repairs, and upgrades using primarily Lenovo hardware. We are responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrade of any desktop software (OS, Office, IE, etc.). We do account maintenance. This includes the creation, deletion and editing of any network credentials. We also set up peripherals such as scanners, local/network printers, and PDAs.
