I help defined benefit pension schemes to reduce risk, run effectively and improve security for members.Areas where I have particular expertise include strategic journey planning, advising as the scheme actuary on buy-in transactions, supporting large schemes with in-house executive teams and working with schemes that are run on a sole trustee basis.Working closely with Claire Jones (LCP’s head of responsible investment) I lead the development of LCP’s climate scenario analysis service. I have supported a wide range of schemes on implementing the TCFD (Taskforce on Climate-related Disclosures) requirements that were introduced through the Pension Schemes Act 2021.Views are my own.
