Responsible for all aspects of supplier quality coordination including review of specifications and producing project quality documents while ensuring internal program compliance. Regular duties include:• Develop positive business relationships and effective lines of communication withsuppliers and customer representatives.• Ensure the adherence to customer requirements through out project life cycles and act as customer advocate when quality issues are identified in processes or products. • Participating in internal design reviews to identify and understand the key project requirements and relaying the identified requirements down to suppliers.• Manage the supplier quality metrics such as non-conformance's, corrective actions, OTDs etc.• Provide input into new supplier qualification process and travelling to suppliers to verify the setups of the manufacturing processes associated with the hold points.• Identify opportunities to educate varying personnel on program requirements to ensure compliance to internal, customer, and regulatory standards. • Prepare and retain quality documentation and records as required (inspection, functional testing, inspection plans, history files, audits, supplier surveillance.)• Monitor supplier work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted manufacturingpractices and prescribed standards, processes and procedures.• Recognize the potential onset of supplier technical issues and initiate appropriatecorrective actions and generate necessary documentation during remediation.• Perform and participate in internal audits that verify effective implementation of varying nuclear quality management systems (N299, N285, N286 & NQA-1) within the strategic business unit while confirming compliance to industry standards. • Facilitate external auditing parties (customer/regulatory).

Responsible for all aspects of product realization from review of specifications and producing project quality documents, to ensuring all client expectations are satisfied. - Complete accurate and clear reports on all QA activities.- Conduct quality kickoff meetings with suppliers, process audits, schedule and complete inspections and review of supplier quality records.- Development and implementation of Quality processes including procedure writing, verifying implementation and validating results.- Participate in internal audits and qualification of vendors & suppliers.- Comprehensive quality database management.

Coordinating and conducting necessary inspections to ensure that fabrication activities will meet Aecon’s Quality Assurance Program and customer requirements.Responsibilities include:•Provide assistance to QC Inspectors in the performance of their duties.•When required, perform inspection on pressure boundary and non-pressure boundary components, assemblies and structural fabrications in accordance with the applicable code of construction and/or customer specifications. Such inspections include•Receiving inspection •Review Material Test Reports•Dimensional inspection•Weld Visual inspection•Magnetic particle inspection•Liquid penetrant inspection•Hardness testing•Inspection for Ferrite content•Positive material identification•Material thickness verification or “D” Meter•Pressure Test Inspection•Paint Coating inspections•Follow and maintain Inspection and Test Plans or Travelers•Perform Source Inspections, In-Process Inspections and Final Inspections, as required.•Complete all associated documentation; Quality Control reports, sign-off on drawings, create as-built drawings, etc.
