• Develop positive business relationships and effective lines of communication withsuppliers and customer representatives.
• Ensure the adherence to customer requirements through out project life cycles and act as customer advocate when quality issues are identified in processes or products.
• Participating in internal design reviews to identify and understand the key project requirements and relaying the identified requirements down to suppliers.
• Manage the supplier quality metrics such as non-conformance's, corrective actions, OTDs etc.
• Provide input into new supplier qualification process and travelling to suppliers to verify the setups of the manufacturing processes associated with the hold points.

• Coordinating and conducting necessary inspections to ensure that fabrication activities will meet Aecon’s Quality Assurance Program and customer requirements.Responsibilities include:
• Provide assistance to QC Inspectors in the performance of their duties.
• When required, perform inspection on pressure boundary and non-pressure boundary components, assemblies and structural fabrications in accordance with the applicable code of construction and/or customer specifications..
