At Wylie & Bisset LLP I currently work as a Partner, heading up our Internal Audit Function. I'm responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients in various sectors, including Education, Social Housing, Charities and the wider Public Sector. The role involves engaging with clients at the planning stage through to presenting findings to the Audit Committee. We currently provide internal audit services to a large number of clients throughout the United Kingdom from Aberdeen in the north of Scotland to London and Brighton in the south of England and many places in between. We’ve also recently secured client work in Northern Ireland. I’ve led on a number of investigations for clients including potential fraud investigations as well as undertaking training for clients on areas such as risk management, governance and financial management. In August 2012 and October 2016 I spoke at the firm's Charity Seminars in Glasgow and Edinburgh on the area of internal controls and fraud and I've also spoken at a number of other seminars on fraud and the value of internal controls.A little more about Wylie & Bisset LLP.
