I help project teams across the country from single family to large multifamily developments achieve their building performance goals through various green certification and energy compliance programs. Lately, focus has been multifamily, whole building air leakage testing.Certifications include RESNET and ENERGY STAR rater, PHIUS+ Verifier, NGBS Green Verifier, BPI Proctor, Building Analyst and Envelope Professional, and IHWAP installer.

We offer a variety of services including residential and commercial energy audits, owners representative services, energy training & testing for BPI, RESNET, and weatherization certifications, 2 hr energy consults, Energy Star certification, home performance testing, and REMRate software modeling.

Designed wind/solar PV systems, assessed site feasibility, interpreted incentives. Facilitated renewable energy outreach center, educated public on residential and commercial wind/solar applications and available incentives. Assisted with monthly newsletter, marketing/promotion and office administration.

Collaborated with employees to identify and document strategy for a Triple Net Zero building renovation. Research was comprehensive including: envelope tightening (air sealing and insulation), advanced building controls and monitoring technoligies, highly efficient HVAC, lighting, solar pv and water systems, geothermal, waste and water management strategy, etc. We explored Passive House principles, Biomimicry, Living Building Challenge and triple net-zero status for the space.I also assisted the program manager in developing an educational component for the completed space. The building, 100-years-old, and roughly 10,000 sq. ft., is a prime example of the many brick buildings in Chicago and the Midwest . The hope is that it will become an excellent case study in green renovations for existing office buildings.

American cultural liaison to all 400 students at Yokoshiba Junior High School. Judo coach, Speech Club – mentored four students to regional championships. Designed/presented ESL conference to elementary school teachers (160+/day). Trained local businesses to engage foreign markets by leveraging their English.

Worked with a team to provide on and offline marketing services including social media, web presence, blogs, live events, website design and SEO. Coordinated and facilitated events for groups of 5-150 people. Designed, created and managed online learning courses in effective networking. Promoted from Social Media Consultant in 2006.
