Graham is a tax lawyer and senior associate at Stewart McKelvey whose practice encompasses both tax planning as well as tax litigation matters.In terms of tax planning, Graham advises clients undertaking M&A transactions and complex reorganizations in close collaboration with professionals advisors. He has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program. In terms of tax litigation, Graham represents clients involved in tax audits, objections and appeals. Prior to practice, he clerked at the Tax Court of Canada and assisted the Judges of the Court in matters arising across Canada.Graham has written articles and spoken at events hosted by the Canadian Tax Foundation and is a member of the Canadian branch of International Fiscal Association's Young IFA Network Committee.Graham attended Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario, where he received the Martin J. Rochwerg Prize in Tax, Estates and Trust Law, the Stewart Saxe Memorial Prize in Labour & Employment Law and the Osgoode Hall Centennial Award for an Outstanding Student from the Maritime Provinces. Graham also holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where he graduated ranked second overall (First Class Honours / summa cum laude) and was selected as the university recipient of the Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year Futures Fund Scholarship Program.In his spare time, Graham volunteers with the J.D. Bridges Foundation, the Osgoode Hall Alumni Association and the St. Francis Xavier University Alumni Mentorship Program.
