Graham H. Ryan is a trusted legal advisor in the technology, banking, energy, and healthcare industries. Graham is a nationally recognized authority on AI legal issues. His work has been published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology, the most cited legal technology journal in the world. His most recent paper, Generative AI Will Break the Internet: Beyond Section 230, 37 Harv. J.L. & Tech. Dig. (Spring 2024), focuses on the interplay of generative artificial intelligence and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, the internet’s foundational law that provides federal immunity from liability for third-party content. Graham has been quoted on AI law and policy issues in various publications such as The Wall Street Journal and the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing memorandum on Legislative Proposal to Sunset Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. He has also provided legislative testimony on AI law and regulation. Graham regularly speaks on AI law and policy topics, including Litigation Radio’s episode The Jigsaw Puzzle Of Old And New Laws Governing Today’s AI. Graham serves on Jones Walker’s Technology Industry Team, and has been appointed to various AI task forces.
