I joined Zurich to help create the telephone contact centre service of Zurich's new online bank - zurichbank.co.uk - which was launched in conjunction with the Bank of Scotland and offered online access to accounts, loans and mortgages. It was supported by 24x7 telephone support, and offered customers face-to-face advice about their accounts with Zurich Advice Network advisors.The service was initially piloted to 1300 Zurich staff. The bank aimed to attract 300,000 new customers over a five-year period and double product cross sales over three yearsZurich decided to withdraw it's online bank to focus on core business
