General management and oversight for statewide political and advocacy organization representing the concerns of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. Responsible for fundraising including grant writing, major donor development and corporate solicitation; implementation of advocacy, lobbying and electoral activities; media communications; and representation of the agency and constituency on numerous boards and multi-issue coalitions.

Additional responsibilities include advising Executive Director and Board on governance issues; representing agency on local planning bodies; assisting with agency communications efforts; serving as a government affairs manager and advocate to promote the issue of mental health in government sponsored programs.

Coordination of advocacy and communications efforts including statewide grassroots training initiative; lobbying on state and federal HIV/AIDS and related medical and social issues; coordination of agency media relations and training of various staff and volunteers on speaking with the media; serve as managing editor for bi-monthly agency publication.
