As a TEFL certified teacher, I taught business and communicative oriented English to adult students as well as foundational English to younger students. While becoming an English teacher was never my endgame, teaching English abroad was one of the most incredible learning experiences I have ever had. I learned how important it is to adapt to new situations and to always seek solutions to problems that at first, may appear unsolvable.

Worked closely with a small team to create a business model and secure funding for an emergency technology concept geared towards aiding first responders with micro-navigation and report management.

The Federal Reserve Challenge is an annual intercollegiate competition where teams from across the country compete by presenting a mock FOMC meeting at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Preparing for and presenting in this competition taught me many valuable skills in macroeconomic research and analysis including: - Macroeconomic data collection and organization from Bloomberg, BEA, BLS, and other domestic and foreign government databases. - Evaluating and determining the potential actions of the Federal Reserve based off of macroeconomic data and forward guidance present in past press releases. - Contructing well designed and concise powerpoint presentations which included many data visualizations. - Developing a deep understanding of monetary policy and being able to answer questions regarding its underlying mechanisms. - Coaching new analysts in economic research, data analysis, and presentation skills.
