IQR has utilised its market position to develop new supply chains between the community’s recyclables and innovative downstream manufacturing, eg: - Virtual Quarry converting recovered glass into clean engineered silica; and- Curby Program enhancing kerbside collection of soft plastics and other difficult to recycle material by integrating existing collection methods with downstream processing. - IQR Research & development Centre at Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast, includes the commercial demonstration of the first SPEC facility (Soft Plastic Engineered Commodity) to enable full scale delivery of the Curby program and expansion of the Redcycle Program to provide offtake material to a range of manufacturers.
