POS Bio-Sciences is a confidential contract research, toll processing, and analytical services organization located in Saskatoon, Canada. We specialize in extraction, fractionation, purification and modification of bio-based materials. I am responsible for the management of the 11 laboratories (both R & D and Analytical).My major responsibilities also includeDevelopment and implementation of strategic business plans for lab services in conjunction with POS' strategies. In Business Development, develop new clients, expand POS capabilities, relate laboratory work to the business needs of the company and actively market and promote the expertise of the group.Monitor literature to ensure that the lab services are proficient and competitive, nationally and internationally and liaise with researchers, educators, government, business managers, other R & D facilities, member organizations and clients.Explore future technologies and equipment that match the corporate strategic plan and screen lab enquiries and assess feasibility. In Management, provide leadership and coordinate staff development and evaluate performance. Evaluate and implement the required of regulatory accreditations and ensure compliance. Design programs to meet client needs (method identification/development and validation and approaches and techniques necessary for successful completion of assignments. Assist staff in trouble shooting, problem solving and interact with clients to provide appropriate information.

Coordinated the initial characterization and continuing monitoring of Inhalation exposure systems using a variety of analytical chemistry techniques. Produced analytical report sections for inclusion in inhalation study reports.
