Nominated for a British Independent Film Award (BIFA) Special Jury Mention (script) at Austin Film Festival. Owner/writer/director at SMALL CHANGE FILMS. 2011 productions: THE WEIGHTING GAME and THE GIRL WITH A YELLOW UMBRELLA. 2012: SPECIAL DELIVERY. Official Selections 2012: Palm Springs, Rushes Soho, The Smalls, DC Shorts, Santa Fe, San José, Calgary, Aguilar de Campoo. 2013, RETURN TO SENDER (Post Production), 2014, A CUT ABOVE (Post Production)Chair of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain 2003-2006 I helped raise its public profile by facilitating the establishment of the Writers' Guild Foundation, the establishment of The Writers' Centre, the re-establishment of the Writers' Guild Awards and redesigning and modernising our Magazine "UK Writer",. Former Vice President of the European Writers' Council 2007-2009, based in Brussels, representing 55 writers' guilds and unions from 30 European countries.Member of BAFTA. Founder and teacher of the screenwriting course at Nottingham's Broadway Media Centre since 2000. Photography. I am a non-commercial photographer. Exhibitions include:“A Word in Your Eye” Solo show.
