Research primarily focused on the development of MRI image processing software to better understand the downstream effects of prenatal alcohol exposure on the developing brain. Work in this thesis showed that children with fetal alchol spectrum disorder had altered brain function and showed patterns of volumetric loss different to that observed in typical development. In addition to insights into neurodevelopment, this thesis presented novel analysis software capable of measuring microstructure of the human cortex enabling future clinical and neurdevelopmental studies.

Developed software for realtime MEG neurofeedback of motor cortex function for applications in stroke rehabilitation research. Responsibilities included general development and documentation for software applications (e.g. analysis pipelines, data backup protocols) necessary for building research capacity for the Laboratory for Clinical MEG.Experience with routine maintenance of MEG equipment to keep systems operational. This includes quality assurance, system troubleshooting.

Developed database oriented maintenance software used for tracking inventory, work order management, and accounting information. Software was deployed at various organizations including hospitals, universities, and manufacturing facilities.Worked directly with clients to develop customized software solutions for their specific needs while fostering client relationships.
