I'm a recent graduate of Rutgers University, where I earned my Bachelor's in Genetics and Associate's in Chemistry. I've always loved science, specifically biology and genetics. My time doing phylogenetics research at the Museum of Natural History was easily the most interesting summer I've had so far, and I've continued this interest by doing undergraduate research with the Genetics Education Partnership. There, we constructed high-quality annotations of the Drosophila willistoni genome in order to provide insight into the interesting properties of the Muller F-element. I'm now working with BMS as a CAR-T Cell Manufacturing Associate. This role involves the creation of T-cells that have been genetically modified to host chimeric antigen receptors, allowing for the targeting of tumors in cancer patients.Outside of work and research, I'm an avid musician. I've played with many different ensembles, like the Fusion Drum & Bugle corps., the Rutgers Marching Scarlet Knights, the Rutgers University Brass Band, and many others!
