The game is a Guitar Hero type rhythm game which was developed as an attempt to preserve and progress the ancient Hmong instrument known as the Qeej.With a team of 3-5, and joining the project on its second revision, my role here was to develop the interactive portion of the game. I helped in the controller development including circuit testing, soldering leads and buttons, and developing a patch in pd to turn a microphone into a blow sensor. I also turned team generated artwork and sounds in to a cohesive theme for the open source guitar hero clone: FoFix.The project will reach the end of stage 2 as of July, 2, 2011 when it will be demonstrated at a Hmong Cultural fair in St Paul Minnesota. Revision 3 is on display as an exhibit piece in a cultural museum in St Paul.

I modified the open source application openSIS to print historical records on to a small high school's transcripts. In the end I suggested a overhaul of the system to output XML documents which could, via XSLT, be rendered in an easily configurable output. My internship ended according to the original contract about the time this system was just starting to be developed.
