The skills I have to offer are:Project ManagementExperience of working in a fast paced and time sensitive engineering research and development environment using project management tools (MS Project, Projectlibre) & processes such as Product Creation and Delivery Systems (PCDS) to deliver a variety of projects. These range from wind tunnel development programme to working as part of a Jaguar Land Rover Programme Management team delivering 4 new ground up vehicles and subsequent model year updates, generating in excess of £1bn in revenue annually.Undertaking several feasibility studies for projects focusing on the costs and timing of programmes.Experience of planning and managing the start-up of a business operating in the UK with P&L responsibility for the business having an annual turnover of circa £4m. Bid / Proposal PreparationParticipated in reviewing Request For Quotation (RFQ) documents and in preparation of bid proposals for projects ranging in value from £100K to £200m, involving engineering research, design, test & development, some undertaken by large automotive OEM’s. and successfully winning business to value of £3.75m.Production Management and ProcurementIn conjunction with engineering team designed and developed a MRP type database system to plan, schedule, monitor progress and delivery of parts to organisation. System was deployed to all key stakeholders whose feedback was positive.Experience liaising with internal & external global supply sources to ensure targets and deadlines met allied with knowledge of manufacturing processes of components of metallic or composite construction.General ManagementConfident in managing or working as part of multi-national teams of people, chairing meetings, agreeing follow up actions and deadlines for completion. Other skills and experienceDatabase design & development (MS Access)Languages – Italian – Intermediate, Spanish - basicMotorsport - F1, F3000/GP2, Sportscars ALMS/IMSA and WECThe role could be working from home and / or commute to office location preferably within a 60 mile radius of North Oxfordshire, Happy to travel within the UK or internationally.
