Advancing from Senior Director to Vice President, restructured Westport’s Heavy Duty LNG Truck Program. Led long term strategic plans with full operational P&L, business and product management for first commercial launch of unique low carbon LNG engine through OEM channels. Carried out broad range of government, industry and public relations activities to support the development of beachhead markets for natural gas trucks and supporting the development of the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach Clean Truck Program with associated multi million dollar budget for customer purchase grants. Established complimentary sales relationships with OEM and fuelling infrastructure partners, securing first commercial orders in excess of $8m. Provided business development support to new initiatives in China, Australia as well as supporting due diligence activities within corporate financial activities.

Program Leader for application of HCCI combustion to natural gas power generation engines with novel fuel injection system. Development of program business cases and launch budgets along with inter-company delivery team structuring and integration.

With a staff of 90+ engineers and technicians provided overall technical leadership for engine testing programs at Ricardo with departmental AOP of approx £9m GBP. Introduction of new test methodologies and commercial launch of state-of-the-art advanced test facilities with capital budget of £6m GBP.
