Goodrich Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems provides complete EO/IR sensor solutions for airborne reconnaissance platforms. While at SRS, the bulk of my time was spent working on image processing and geolocation algorithm implementation. The majority of this work was done in C++, but I also worked on some user-level tools written completely in Java.

Over the course of it's short run, Rovia had two main product lines. Initially, the company's focus was on RovReader, it's electronic college textbook system. Over time, another product, ShareSafe, was created to take our experience protecting digital textbooks to corporate document security.I worked heavily on the client code for both these products, which were based on the Mozilla application framework. Most of my time was split writing JavaScript logic behind the XUL UI, as well as lower level client and server capabilities in C++.

This was my first professional internship. When I started at Warner Lambert, I was responsible for first and second tier desktop support. Over time my responsibilities grew and I became involved with the hardware and software selection as well as writing some prototype software for a pen-based computing pilot for field sales representatives.
