Since starting my career, I have focused on successfully launching software which brings value to its users. I work in Professional Services within the Software as a Service (SaaS) market and have worked as a Project Manager, Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Engineer and now lead a Professional Services team of over twenty people.People tend to see me as someone who can wear many hats within a Professional Services organisation. I joined BigMachines when there were only five people in EMEA and I fitted into the start-up environment well. My fluency in German and ability to communicate well with both business and technical people meant I quickly moved onto a customer facing role including designing solutions and owning parts of customer communication. After two years, I was promoted to a Project Manager and fully owned the oversight, design, implementation and launch of multiple $500k+ projects throughout EMEA. Examples of clients who’s projects I’ve owned include Tele2 (telecommunications in Sweden), Orange (telecommunications in the UK), Breuer (manufacturing in Germany) and Hotonline (media in UK). I received great feedback from clients around my ability to organise and manage multiple work streams under strict time pressure and communicate well with all levels of the organisation such as handling difficult situations and escalations.At the end of 2009, I was promoted to my current role to lead the Professional Services team in EMEA. Within two years, I doubled the team to over twenty people working across multiple offices inline with the overall growth BigMachines was achieving. I am responsible for all EMEA projects including a number of enterprise clients such as Xerox, Honeywell, Vodafone, ADP and Kodak. I have successfully driven over 30% revenue growth year on year while maintaining profit margins in line with company goals.
