The addition of 2,000 Active Directory records, and associated application code, allowed Business Information Risk Officers (BIROs) for… Show more Cybersecurity Change Programme This recent role involved providing business analysis expertise on the client’s Incident Management and Response projects, within their Cybersecurity change programme.It initially focused on an access entitlement project for their Case Management Tool, which needed to be completed before the 2018 year-end break. The addition of 2,000 Active Directory records, and associated application code, allowed Business Information Risk Officers (BIROs) for 25 business units, spread across 80 countries to access only their appropriate Data Loss incident records.The introduction of GDPR rules, together with ever-active threat actors, raised the volume of Cybersecurity incidents being raised and needing to be processed. Projects in 2019 therefore sought to automate processes to increase throughput and efficiency in order to mitigate these risks. Deliverables included: - automated email notification for BIRO to raise awareness of incidents; - an automated investigation process to allow Line Managers to respond to formatted questionnaires;- automating capture of self-reported incidents; - extending use of the case management tool to Highly Regulated Countries, by complying with necessary local regulations.The last project in 2019 handled the deployment, to 280,000 users worldwide, of a new MS Outlook plugin that automated the processing of suspected Phishing emails. Initial role was to re-establish the PMO, focussing on Stakeholder and Regulatory reporting.Once in place, responsibilities were added for oversight of a number of the more challenging implementation projects.Key responsibilities: setting up Programme Governance functions; Programme wide plan management; oversight of work stream progress; oversight of implementation projects.Oct 12- Dec 14: Stride ProgrammeJoined the initiative to re-engineering the bank’s financial reporting systems.Initially responsible for leading programme-wide planning on the Release 1 build phase from Oct 12 to go live in Sep 13. It included creating an hour-by-hour plan for the 4 day implementation and running a 24x7 Command & Control Centre managing the various global teams. To ensure success, a number of dry runs were completed.For the second phase, from Oct 13 - Dec 14 the role took on a Governance and Control stance, closely monitoring the build and implementation of three quarterly releases. - May: go live of first part (R2.1) introduced a new adjustment tool- Aug: the second part (R2.2) completed the release’s infrastructure- Nov: third part (R2.3) focused on enhancing the user experience.Key responsibilities included the overall lead in Programme planning, together with detailed planning and control of the testing and implementation tasks.
