Having been involved within the fire alarm engineering industry now for many years I've seen the progression of the equipment from the simple systems to the highly advanced installations of today’s market.I initially began my career in the business as an engineer, servicing and maintaining systems progressing into commissioning, technical support, projects and service/project management. During this time I've gained and developed the many key skills and personal attributes required to enable my progression within the industry which includes working in a multitude of environments including commercial, banking, industrial, retail and public sectors.During my career development I've received extensive training both in-house and from the various manufacturers that we have today. Included within my training has been the constantly evolving BSI and EN standard that all equipment manufacturers and fire alarm companies must adhere to.
