Following the re-organisation at Novo Nordisk and merging of two OHS groups, I continue to be engaged in:- Stakeholder engagement with the Novo Nordisk areas to support and develop a strong safety mindset, with focus on risk management, H&S culture and maturity.- Project manager in focus various programs including driving safety program, global e-Learning training and risk mitigation initiatives (slip/trip/fall, Risk management)- OHS competency consultant: Providing guidance and support to Line of Business on risk and safety issues and sparring partner within the Novo Nordisk occupational health and safety department.- EH&S lead auditor: Joint EHS lead auditor in the PS EHS program; audit planning, implementation, reporting and action follow-up and sparring.- Health and Safety support team lead: Team shift planning, training, active support role and dashboard reporting to leadership.- H&S representative: HSR for the P&O Business partnership area; H&S introduction training, incident reporting, campaign lead, and meeting system requirements for Management review, risk assessments and safety inspections.

I was responsible for coordinating the global Environmental and Health & Safety work across various international production sites in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. This role built upon developing the corporate strategies and systems with sites into local targets and activities to drive a positive EHS performance and employee mindset. The role required communicating and interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders at corporate, site management and departmental levels. In which we strived to complement the EHS aspirations and goals with the company’s LEAN principles and quality focus.Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) is a Danish based company, comprised of 3700 employees located in various factories in Denmark, Chartres (France); Clayton (USA), Montes Claros (Brazil) and Tianjin (China).Achievements:• Lead the development of a global web browser based H&S risk assessment tool, that was implemented at the divisions 8 operation sites, providing an aligned approach to H&S risk management within the division.• Successful implementation of Behaviour Based Safety metrics at a French manufacturing site, providing site leadership with the tools to improve safety performance.Achievements:• Implemented an integrated ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system with focus on behaviour based safety, successfully certified by 3rd party certification.

I was responsible for the development and maintenance of the environmental management systems at NN, Diabetic Finished Products, Bagsværd site on a one year contract, which was concluded early as I was asked to become the global SHE lead for the division.Achievements:• Implemented an integrated ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system with focus on behaviour based safety, successfully certified by 3rd party certification.

I was appointed to the DuPont Corporate SHE and Sustainability department, with various duties that included:- Environmental Management System: Overseeing of integration activities for new and acquisition sites to the corporate certificate, leadership and maintenance of the global EMS competency network, procedure reviews and revisions, training development and presentation, 3rd party audit planning, and 2nd party environmental auditing activities.- Responsible Care®: Oversight of the RCMS, revision of the DuPont SHE management procedures to comply with the American Chemical Councils (ACC) revised management system technical requirements, 3rd party audit planning and representation of DuPont at the ACCS council.- SHE Contract Manufacturing (CM): Leadership and maintenance of the global CM SHE competency network, revision and maintenance of the DuPont CM SHE standard, audit protocols, reporting requirements, development and implementation of a globally standardized audit planning progress. These roles required the assessing of sites operational efficiency, discipline and quality of their management system compliance, and the reporting of KPIs and performance metrics to senior leadership, with recommendations for strategic improvements. Achievements:• Maintained corporate ISO 14001 certification and maintenance activities for over 100 global facilities and successfully implemented systems at ~30.• Supported the successful Responsible Care Management System® 3rd party certification of 6 north America operation sites.• I wrote the global DuPont Management system procedure, and led the roll out process to 36 North America sites, and the corporate global supporting function groups.• By establishing new guidance and clarity in the risk management approach, I reduced the on-site CM auditing requirements by ~35%

Following the organisational change as part of the integration of Danisco AS into the DuPont organisation, my role changed and I became a Business SHE manager for the Enablers business division. In particular focusing upon the SHE integration into the DuPont standards and establishing the SHE strategy for the business division.Duties also included the site SHE manager for the Copenhagen office and continued support for the DuPont SHE integration workstreams of the former Danisco organisation.Achievements:• Developed the N&H integration GAP tool and reporting processes for the 46+ manufacturing sites, to successfully plan and manage the SHE integration to DuPont systems and Lifesaving rules, leading to ~35% reduction in the 12 month rolling average of TRI.

The Corporate Sustainability department at Danisco AS was a functional group at the Danisco Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. As the Corporate Environment, Health and Safety Manager, I worked with a global network of EHS professionals to improve current global processes including assurance, data roll-up and consolidation, performance management, and risk reduction.Achievements:• Led and aligned the divisional SHE leads: to identify best practices to be leveraged to drive corporate safety performance; establish division plans for the roll out of these initiatives, subject to DuPont failing to acquire Danisco.

I was responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and expansion of the environmental system, and assisted in the Quality management system (ISO 9001) and the work place environment.Achievements:• Implemented and lead the successful environmental certification (ISO14001) of 8 locations comprising of; glass fibre laminating, metal workshop, plastics R&D and spray painting facilities.
