As a Senior Technical Account Manager, I am the primary technical point of contact for Enterprise customers.• Engage with Director and C-Level executives to craft and execute strategies to drive adoption of AWS services.• Work hands-on with customer's engineering and architecture teams to develop, migrate and debug applications.• Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for success.• Directly manage and fully engaged in all critical support issues affecting my customers. As a customer-obsessed company, we ensure their voice and needs come first.• Provide direct access to AWS Service Teams and insight into their roadmaps, mapping the customer's business needs to AWS' priorities.

Part of team responsible for the architecture and operations of the private cloud. Supporting all components of the virtual infrastructure and Windows Server systems. The environment encompassed thousands of hypervisor hosts and tens of thousands of virtual machines. Primary customers include internal Corporate LOB application admins, BU's, remote sites, M&A, and R&D.• Core infrastructure pieces include VMware vSphere, VMware vRealize, VMware vCloud Director (vCD), HP ProLiant, Cisco UCS, Powershell, Windows Server and HipChat. Storage includes FC, iSCSI, NFS, and VSAN.• Daily interface with key IT leaders and project managers for critical business initiatives. Provide architecture and guidance on utilization of our private cloud.• Proficiency in automation, standardization, and rapid deployment allows our team to efficiently and quickly respond to our internal customers. Orchestration and scripting developed to rapidly implement new infrastructure, maintenance, and reporting. Architected and deployed vRealize Operations to support real-time monitoring and capacity forecasting.• Led efforts to evaluate and architect software defined storage for the VMware vSphere environment. Integrated VMware SRM to provide DR services for key customers.• Rollout of vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) across entire enterprise. Provide real-time troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and capacity management for private cloud.

Charged with architecting and implementing operational best practices for large multi-national environment. Provided engineering and support for vSphere infrastructure to support 70+ global sites. Tier 3 support and engineering also provided for Windows/Linux server infrastructure team.• Led efforts to evaluate various enterprise storage systems to support VMware vSphere build-out. Extensive storage network engineered to support rollout of new arrays.• Architected IT hardware refresh as part of a new multi-datacenter build-out. Components included: HP ProLiant BladeSystem, Dell EqualLogic, HP Virtual Connect, VMware vSphere, Cisco Nexus, Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, Chef.• Standardized Linux support on Ubuntu with Chef used for configuration management.• Provided escalated support for virtualization, OS, and storage issues. Included RCA and vendor engagement to drive resolution.
