Responsible for the development and delivery of EMS training to the students, staff and members of Cypress Creek EMS, as well as being the primary instructor for the CCEMS Paramedic Program. In this position I was also classified as a Paramedic III/Supervisor and supplemented both field and supervisor positions to ensure minimum staffing was met.

Fire/EMS Lieutenant for the OCFD C-Shift. Provided leadership, command and support for the on duty crews during Fire/EMS operations and throughout daily activities. Designed and implemented the Rapid Sequence Intubation program as well as provided for patient tracking, recertification and follow up on RSI cases. Assisted with the design, selection and roll-out of an RMS product (Visual Fire) for Fire/EMS reports. Managed the Water Rescue Team to include Rescue Swimmers and Dive Rescue Specialists.

Provided for leadership and oversight of the Bethany Beach VFC EMS services. This included administrative functions such as; budget development, human resources functions, payroll, employee review, and disipline. The ordering of EMS and station supplies, vehicle maintenance and customer services were also paramount tasks assigned daily. Operationally this position functioned as a station duty officer; responding to Fire and EMS calls, establishing Incident Command and performing in various NIMS roles. Ensuring EMS staffing of both Career and Volunteer members was a priority in order to handle the 800+ calls annually.
