I come from a long line of artists, inventors, fixers and do-it-yourselfers. Through the years, I have taken pieces and parts from each of these ancestral traits to carve quite an eclectic career path.Having graduated college with a degree in public relations, I departed the university and thrust myself straight into a small custom cabinet/furniture shop.  I was soon promoted to Project Manager, which quickly took me down a path of managing projects for many different companies. Through the course of time, I have served as a network technician, project manager, brand manager, marketing director, draftsman, carpenter, handyman, director of IT and more. Throughout most of this meandering career path, however, there was a strong and steady undercurrent of passion: building and creating. I built his first electric guitar at the age of 15, during my high school shop class. This passion eventually culminated in assisting my brother, Cory, in the building of a successful guitar company which still thrives today under Cory's direction.  (www.batsonguitars.com)In 2011, I opted for a change of scenery, and immersed myself in the work of pipe-making.
