Covering the North Region, it is my duty to provide first rate workforce health, safety and environmental advice to the Business function to facilitate compliance with relevant legislation that Network Rail adhere to. Providing advice, guidance and support to staff in regards to health, safety and environmental assurance matters along with evaluating document requirements for Supply Chain Operations including fleet, functional teams and work-sites. On a day to day basis it is also my duty to carry out detailed risk based inspections of work sites and other strategic locations to ensure they meet Network Rail's high standards. The role includes supporting line management in compliance with accident and investigations to establish root cause errors. It is under my remit to collate, analyse and share important workforce health, safety and environment data. One of the main duties is to deliver Health & Safety advice for OPEX work in accordance with Network Rail Company Standards and guidelines. As the representative of Health & Safety, the role entails being the main point of contact and to hold meetings to provide safety support on SHE matters with contracting organisations to share and disseminate best practices and lessons learnt.

In brief it is my Duty as Compliance Manager to ensure all operations of all work operations, undertaken by Jet Aire (DC) Ltd are completed in a manor compliant with all Health & Safety Legislation & safe working practices. In addition, ensure that each Jet Aire Site is a Safe & Compliant work place whilst assisting in the smooth running of Jobs/Projects, as required.

Preparation of Documentation, Writing Health & Safety Policies, Safe Systems of Work and all associated Documents to Comply and Implement Safe Management Systems. Undertaking Site Inspections and Audits for Clients from the Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing Industries. Providing Safety Consultation & Advice for Clients. Undertaking Risk Assessments & Developing Policies. Continuous Liaison with Enforcement Authorities and Supply Chain Management on Behalf of Clients. Chas Assessments leading to Accreditation.SMAS Assessments leading to Accreditation. Providing e-learning courses & training leading to Certification. Identification of Training needs on Behalf of Clients, ensuring Competency & Compliance. Training & Delivering EMSS National Safety Passport Course.
