About Grant Benoit

I am currently a pipe fitter with 3 years experience. I have always had a very big interest in technology. At 18, I started my own business to repair computers and various other technology components such as; repair flat screen TV's, install/repair wired/wireless surveillance systems, repair cell phones, setting up basic/advanced networks, repairing laptops (including software issues and replacing components in the machine), repairing desktop computers (software and hardware), and building custom PC's. I am currently trying to learn C++ programming language, but with time being very limited due to work it is a slow process.I have learned how to do all of this on my own, with research from google and a lot of trial and error. I al always open to learning new things. Technology is my passions.I do not have any certifications or credentials, but I am eager to obtain my A+ certification.I attended Nicholls State University in 2008 for Computer science. I changed my major to computer information systems, and then decided to switch back to computer science. Upon doing the final switch, I had realized the computer science program had been cut, eventually leading me to quit school and start working. I do plan to go back when the time is right.
